Old Sturbridge Academy shares a site with Old Sturbridge Village, an immersive living museum set in 19th-century New England. OSA students recently advocated for more diverse representation in the village and the telling of a more accurate, complete history. Students researched people, change-makers, events, and objects from 19th-century New England, collaboratively authoring an original book focused on stories and communities previously pushed to the margins of history. This project and video was produced with support of EL Education's Better World Day Media Grant. www.eduducation.org #BetterWorldDay
