Sydney Chaffee teaches Humanities at Codman Academy Charter Public School, an EL Education Credentialed School, where she focuses on the intersection of history and literature to help her students learn from lessons of the past to make change in the world. Sydney was named 2017 National Teacher of the Year. She delivered this keynote address at the EL Education 2017 (25th Anniversary) National Conference in Chicago, IL.
