Several Expeditionary Learning Mentor Schools and NYC Outward Bound Schools celebrated their seniors on December 13, inspired by Washington Heights Expeditionary Learning School - WHEELS. WHEELS, also a Mentor School, started the College March tradition two years ago with all of its seniors marching to the post office to send their applications to colleges. This year Capital City Public Charter School, Casco Bay High School, Harborside Academy and Springfield Renaissance School joined all of the NYC Outward Bound Schools (Gaynor McCown Expeditionary Learning School, Kurt Hahn Expeditionary Learning School, Expeditionary Learning School for Community Leaders, Validus Preparatory Academy, Channel View School for Research, James Baldwin School and Brooklyn School for Collaborative Studies) in the excitement and cheered their seniors.
