We are pleased to announce that EL Education’s 2016 Brooks Thomas Exemplary Service Award recipient is Eadie Wilson-Beeler, Director of Development.
“She epitomizes Crew: low ego, high results, tenacity in the midst of high pressure tight deadline work, and always excellence. Her quiet behind-the-scenes work has shaped every aspect of EL Education’s innovation and impact over the past 5+ years.”
The Brooks Thomas Exemplary Service Award honors EL Education employees who exemplify the qualities and character of our founding trustees and illustrate our commitment to serve as “Crew, not passengers.” Honorees demonstrate excellence, collaboration, and perseverance and their contributions to enhance our mission exceed expectations. Within EL Education schools, Crew is a structure that fosters a sense of belonging within students, and a place where they can be their best selves while lifting up their peers to achieve more than they think possible.
“She epitomizes Crew: low ego, high results, tenacity in the midst of high pressure tight deadline work, and always excellence."
Eadie has been our Director of Development for over five years. With 15 years of experience in development, and time spent in direct service of classroom teachers, Eadie is universally admired and applauded for her skill, experience, and grace under pressure, as well as for the critical role that she plays in the advancement of our mission and vision.

She has a master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, and a bachelor’s degree in Politics from Ithaca College.
On March 15th, we’ll celebrate Eadie’s accomplishments and commitments as a passionate and exemplary member of EL Education. Congratulations to our friend, colleague, and partner in Crew, Eadie Wilson-Beeler!
