Call for Nominations

Nominate an exceptional teacher or leader at your school today!

The EL Education Klingenstein Teacher Award and Silverberg Leadership Award celebrate exceptional teachers and school leaders who bring EL Education's vision to life—engaging students in work that is challenging, adventurous and meaningful so that learning and achievement can flourish.

Each year, one teacher and one school leader are selected who exemplify the spirit and values of EL Education and give voice to the hundreds of wonderful educators in the EL Education community.

Candidates are nominated by their school communities. The deadline for nominations is June 30, 2022.

Award recipients will receive a $5,000 cash prize and be invited to participate in speaking and writing opportunities to amplify educator voices and share their expertise with the EL Education community and beyond. The awards will be bestowed during the EL Education 2022 National Conference on December 7-9 in Chicago.
