Job Title: Special Education Teacher 

Supervisor: Special Education Team Lead

Start Date/Hours: August 13 - August 11; 8:45am-5:15pm Monday through Friday

Description: The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing Special Education services and accommodations to our elementary school students, including inclusion and small group support.  This position is best suited for an individual with a deep understanding of Special Education practices and procedures. Candidates must have the ability to inspire students as a positive adult role model while maintaining an orderly and safe classroom environment.  Candidates must hold appropriate MA Licensure in Special Education- Moderate Disabilities for grade level applying.

  • Integrated Health and Education: CACPS is co-located with our founding partner, the Codman Square Health Center. Together we’ve formed Codman2 , an innovative partnership that aims at improving the physical, mental, and socio-emotional health of our community. Our partnership earned the first Mayoral Prize in Innovation in Health Care. CACPS also earned the Gold-Level Massachusetts School Wellness Award, which noted a high level of student involvement in the wellness program, coordination with the Codman Square Health Center, and exemplary whole school approach to fostering wellness

  • a minimum of 3 years teaching experience 
  • a Bachelor’s degree
