Lower School External Assessor for Fountas and Pinnell Reading Assessment

Capital City is looking for a dedicated person who can conduct Fountas and Pinnell reading
assessments for first through fourth grade. This contract is for approximately 50 hours of
work. Payment is $1500 upon completion of the task.

The Fountas and Pinnell reading assessment includes a brief introduction to a text, a running
record and fluency and comprehension analysis to determine the instructional and
independent level for elementary age students. Each assessment takes approximately 30

This work will take place between May 15 - June 15

Experience administering the Fountas and Pinnell Reading Assessment, or another assessment
of its kind, such as the DRA (Developmental Reading Assessment).
