EL Education’s National Conference brings together people from all over the world who are motivated by a shared vision of what is possible for all K–12 students. ELNC helps educators prepare students to contribute to a better world. Our conference sessions are “for practitioners, by practitioners,” with presenters illuminating commonalities and sharing their collective wisdom and expertise related to EL Education curricula, the Three Dimensions of Student Achievement, and the Core Practices. This year we’re excited to add new session types and lengths to reach multiple audiences—including school and district administrators, instructional leaders, school board members, and curriculum specialists—with diverse goals.
This extraordinary opportunity comes with complimentary conference registrations for session facilitators–a $1,050 value each!–and allows you to showcase your expertise, share your successes, and engage with a passionate audience of educators, administrators, and thought leaders.
Apply now to host one of four session types, Connect, Reflect, Engage, and Work:
Connect sessions are short and aim to create a relaxed and informal environment where participants can come together based on shared interests, roles, or experiences. Connect sessions can be roundtable discussions focusing on sharing ideas and networking.
- 60 minutes; granted one complimentary conference slot
Reflect sessions feature expert speakers, school leaders, researchers, students, or educational thought leaders with unique experiences in the field. Reflect sessions may be individual talks or panel discussions.
- 60 minutes; granted one complimentary conference slot
Engage sessions are longer sessions similar to EL Education’s traditional format in which teachers become the students and actively engage and collaborate. In Engage sessions, facilitators lead discussions, and attendees may participate in protocols, active discussions, or problem-solving tasks.
- 90 minutes; granted two complimentary conference slots
Work sessions are creative building sessions designed to ensure participants have a concrete action plan they can take back to their districts or schools.
