District Leadership Cohort: Leading Toward Equity
Leadership Development, Virtual Event
EL Education Partners
EL Education leaders cultivate the mindsets and equitable conditions for Continuous Improvement so that all students achieve consistently positive outcomes across all three dimensions: mastery of knowledge and skills, character, and high-quality work.
Drawing from Unconscious Bias in Schools: A Developmental Approach to Exploring Race and Racism, the District Leadership Cohort: Leading Toward Equity, is an opportunity to strengthen and support the capacity of district leaders and explore what it means to move toward equity at this moment.
Attendees will work together to explore:
- How racism influences our schools, districts, and classrooms.
- How to foster a brave community that actively engages in discussions around race and inequities.
- How to lead an effective, strategic planning cycle that results in equitable, impactful learning for all students.
- How to contribute to building an equitable (respectful, active, collaborative, and growth-oriented) learning environment.
This cohort will meet on:
- November 13, 2020
- February 5, 2021
- May 14, 2021
Each day from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. (EST) participants will hear from experts in the field, review case studies, and work together to apply their new knowledge to their own district.
This cohort is designed for district-level leaders across the US, including, but not limited to, Superintendents, Central Office Administrators, and district coaches. Please click here for policies, logistics, and pricing information.
