Credentialed School Leadership Institute
EL Education Institute, Leadership Development
- City Atlanta, GA
Network School Partners
After the dust of the school year has settled, we invite leaders from EL Education credentialed schools to come together to reflect on leadership -- their own and that of EL Education. Credentialed schools uniquely express the ideals of EL Education. As visionaries and champions of our model, credentialed school leaders rarely get time to refuel and to connect with like-minded peers. At this institute, school principals and heads of school lean into an honest examination of their leadership through the support of an extraordinarily humble and wise cohort of peer leaders. They share common grapples and give and receive peer feedback. The result is a combination of affirmation and challenge. In addition to building individual leadership skills, this institute offers leaders of our network an opportunity to shape EL Education’s practice and direction. What supports is EL designing and how can they best meet the needs of our partners? How can we improve our organizational practice so that we serve all of our partners well? This institute also meets concurrently with the Leadership Induction Institute so that credentialed school leaders have opportunities to help bring into the network the next cohort of EL Education school leaders. CSLI participants will spend some time welcoming new leaders into the network and establishing collegial relationships to draw upon in the future.
Note: Participation in this institute is reserved for school principals and heads of school. All mentor school leaders are expected to enroll.
Important note regarding schedule: This institute is from July 14-16, 2020. Mentor leaders stay on for July 17.
