Educator Awards

Klingenstein Teacher Award

Each year, an outstanding teacher from the EL Education community receives the Klingenstein Teacher Award. Recipients exemplify the spirit and values of EL Education. They are recognized by their peers to have most successfully transmitted to students the essence of EL culture: building exemplary character, driving outstanding academic achievement, and instilling an ethic of “citizen scholarship.”

The nomination window for the 2017 award is now closed. The recipient will be announced in October at the EL Education 2017 National Conference.

Silverberg Leadership Award

Each year, a school leader from within the EL Education community receives the Silverberg Leadership Award. Recipients are distinguished leaders and managers who have driven the successful implementation of EL pedagogy and culture, and have consistently strived for the continuous improvement of both.

Fund for Teachers

Since 2004, EL Education has partnered with Fund for Teachers (FFT), a non-profit organization working to enrich the personal and professional growth of teachers by supporting them in pursuing unique opportunities around the world that make the greatest impact on their classroom practice.
